Quick steps: Sign in to your Webex site and go to Preferences > My Personal Room. Cohosts section, Allow cohosts for my Personal Room meetings. A number of options will appear. Select an option.

Using the Personal Room during a meeting
The Participant Menu:
- uncheck Entry and Exit Tone to turn off and not hear the beeps when someone joins
- uncheck Mute All, and check Allow attendees to unmute themselves, click Mute All
The Share Content Menu:
- Share content... choose an application and Share, move mouse to top of window to see Stop Sharing, click it to stop
Chat Window:
- Select To: Everyone or Individual
Audio and Video: Speakers, camera, and microphone on personal device are in good shape
-for clear audio on Headset; an ideal headset varies depending on work environment
o Open - active noise cancellation, passive noise cancellation, and wired headset
o Closed - active noise cancellation, optional passive noise cancellation, wired or wireless headset o Speaker - private room or office

Meet-Me
On phone press more, press soft key Meet me, Dial 1XXXXXXXXXX, to be the bridge controller, ask others to call the same phone (1XXXXXXXXXX). Its max is 16.
Conference Calls
You can create conference calls in two ways:
- Conference — You initiate the conference call by calling each participant and adding them to the conference one by one.
- Join —You combine two or more existing calls (they can be incoming or outgoing calls).
Conference call tips
- When only two parties remain on the line, the conference call becomes a regular call.
- If the initiator of the conference call hangs up, the other parties might be able to continue the call, depending on how your phone is configured.
- Press the Hold Softkey to place a conference call on hold. Pressing the Answer a second call Softkey will temporarily remove you from the conference. Press the Resume Softkey to return to the conference call.
- Press the Speaker button to place a call on speakerphone.
Place Conference Calls
The Confrn Button allows you to create a standard (ad hoc) conference by calling each participant. To combine existing calls, use Join.
Initiating the conference call
- Place the first call and wait for it to be answered.
- Press the Confrn button.
This selects a new line and places the first call on hold. - Dial another telephone number.
- When the next call is answered, press the Confrn Button to add this person to the conference call.
You should now be able to speak to both called parties. - If you wish, you can add up to three more calls. For each, press Confrn, dial the next number, then press Confrn again.
Note: The maximum number of participants is four: four other lines, plus your line.
Viewing or removing participants
- To view a list of conference participants, press the ConfList Softkey.
Participants are listed in the order in which they were joined into the conference, with the more recent additions at the top. - To update the list of participants, while viewing the list, press Update.
- To remove any participant from the conference, while viewing the conference list, highlight the participant's name and press Remove.
Join Calls into a Conference
Join allows you to combine two or more existing calls (i.e., incoming calls that you did not initiate) to create a conference in which you are a participant.
Joining calls
To join calls:
*Feature may not appear. Check the phones softkeys on a connected call and view options.

- From a connected call (not on hold), press the more Softkey, press the more Softkey again, then press Join.

- Use the navigation arrows to scroll to the line you want to join (arrow up to original call).

- Press the more Softkey until you see Join and Press the Join Softkey again to begin the conference.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to join additional callers into the conference.
Note: The maximum number of Join participants is five (four other lines plus your line).
Viewing or removing participants
- To view a list of conference participants, press the ConfList Softkey.
Participants are listed in the order in which they were joined into the conference, with the more recent additions at the top. - To update the list of participants, while viewing the list, press Update.
- To remove any participant from the conference, while viewing the conference list, highlight the participant's name and press Remove.
- *May not be an active key on most 7937G.
TIP:

maximum of 4 participants, not including yourself, in a conference...
- If you're the Moderator and you disconnect the call instead of ending the meeting, the meeting continues until all parties hang up. When you dial back in normally, you lose the Moderator functions. However, you can re-assume the Moderator role by performing the following steps:
1. Dial into MeetingPlace
2. Instead of entering the Meeting ID number, press 2#
3. Enter your Meeting ID, followed by #
4. It will repeat your Profile Number and ask you to confirm by typing in your PIN
5. You will be dialed back into the meeting, with the Moderator role
Once you're the Moderator again, you can follow the steps of ending the meeting. This will disconnect the call for all participants.
MeetingPlace
Provide attendees the bridge number and enter the meeting ID number and press #
How to:
1) Dial bridge number - 1-X
2) Put in your Meeting ID (XXXXXX#)
a) To Start meeting Press 2 b) Enter your moderator id/pin (XXXXXX#)
NOTE: Users will dial into the 1-X and dial meeting id (XXXXXX#). The bridge will not open until you dial in and put in your moderator code.
*Depending on your system setup, some of the
features described in this quick start guide
may not be available to you.
