NOTE: If your converting to a Cisco VoIP telephone, and you move your existing headset to your new phone. Please know we will make a "best-effort" attempt to make it work. However, we cannot guarantee that it will work or offer support beyond initial troubleshooting.
TIP: Enable E-Hookswitch on the 8945 IP Phone: Press Applications > Preferences > E-Hookswitch connectected > Press ok and choose yes or no
To enable or disable the Electronic Hookswitch feature for a Cisco IP Phone 7821, 7841, and 7861, perform these steps:
