The following instructions may list several different 'Clusters'. In general, the majority of users will be located on Cluster 1 if not a Call Center Agent. If you are unsure which cluster to use, please contact your Helpdesk or VoIP administrator for clarification.
Self Care Password Instructions:
Per the DAS credential policy, the Self Care Portal password will expire every 90 days. The Self Care Portal password is also used for programs such as Jabber and Finesse (For Finesse on Cluster 2 only). This is a notification that your password will expire within the next 7 (or fewer) days. In order to reset your password, please use the following steps:
Step 1.
Click on the link provided for the Self Care Portal here:

Step 2.
Login using your current password for the Self Care Portal. If you do not remember your current password, please reach out to your help desk/VoIP admin for a password reset.
Step 3.
On the main page, click on the tab for General Settings
Step 4.
To change your Self Care Portal password, enter a new password in the fields for the "Client/Portal Password" section. The new password must be 8 characters in length, contain one capital letter, one lower case letter, one number, and one special character. This cannot be the same password that has been used for the past 24 credentials. Example: Cisco357!
Step 5.
Once you have entered your new password and confirmed your new password, a "Save" box will appear. Click on "Save" to save the new password.
Self Care Phone PIN Instructions:
Per the DAS credential policy, the PIN will expire every 90 days. The PIN is also used for features such as Extension Mobility. This is a notification that your PIN will expire within the next 7 (or fewer) days. In order to reset your PIN, please use the below steps.
NOTE: Please be advised this is not the voicemail PIN
Step 1.

Step 2.
Login using your current password for the Self Care Portal. If you do not remember your current password, please reach out to your help desk/VoIP admin for a password reset.
Step 3.
On the main page, click on the tab for General Settings
Step 4.
Under the Phone Services PIN section, enter in your new PIN and confirm your new PIN. The PIN must be 6 characters in length and cannot be anything that you have used within the last 24 PIN's.
Step 5.
Once you have entered and confirmed your new PIN, a "Save" button will appear. Click on "Save" to save your new PIN
Voicemail PIN Reset
To complete a Voicemail PIN reset from the phone, as long as you know the current Voicemail PIN:
- 1. Press the messages button
- 2. Enter Current PIN
- 3. Press these numbers in succession: 4, 3, 1
- 4. Follow the prompts: the pin must be at least 6 digits long. enter your new PIN followed by #, for help press 0.
- 5. Enter your new PIN again to confirm it, then press #.
This can also be accessed and completed when away from your device with the following steps:
Remote access to your voice mail (Not a Cisco Phone):
1. Dial your 11 digit phone number, once you hear your greeting then,
2. Press *
3. Enter your 11-digit phone number followed by #
4. Enter your voice mail PIN followed by #
Remote access your voice mail from another Cisco IP phone:
1. Press the Message button on the phone set
2. Press *
3. Enter your 11-digit ph # followed by #
4. Enter your voice mail PIN followed by #
Voicemail Personal Communications Assistant (PCA) Password (also the Jabber Voicemail Password)
Per the DAS credential policy, the PCA/Jabber Voicemail password expires every 90 days. The PCA password is used in Jabber Voicemail as well as the Web Voicemail portal. This notification is to advise that your PCA password will expire in 7 (or fewer) days. Please see steps below to resetting your password.
Step 1.
Use the following link to access the PCA portal.

Step 2.
Login using your current password. If you do not know your current password, please reach out to your helpdesk/VoIP admin for a password reset.
Step 3.
Click on the link for "Messaging Assistant"
Step 4.
From the top menu, click on "Passwords" and select "Change Cisco PCA Password"
Step 5.
Enter your current password, and then new password and confirm new password. Please be advised your PCA password must contain one capital letter, one lower case letter, one number, and one special character. The new PCA password cannot be anything that you have used within the last 24 passwords. Example: Cisco357!
